I studied the basics of graphic design and art in high school. I had wished, back then, to get into VFX and Pixar-style 3D animation. At the time, there was only one College in Ontario that worked with digital animation, and I didn't get accepted.
Other than my Photoshop skills editing pictures, and some occasional graphic design work for friends and family, I had forgotten all about my dream until I discovered Daz Studio in 2012, and I spent years just using that and Photoshop to make pieces of 3D art, mostly focusing on composition and lighting.
Now, I've started to learn the other aspects of 3D art, to complete the 'package'. My disability keeps me from working as fast as others, and I will likely never work in the industry because of it, but I love every minute of creating this artwork. Someday, I hope to be able to create full animations, even if it's only to share on social media.
